Animatronics
This page is to highlight the animated figures I've developed over the years in my personal hobbies. Each project was able to give me a valuable new skill in the overall development of animated figures.
IN-D1
This figure was developed for the IAAPA 2023 conference. It is based on the BD droids found in the
Star Wars franchise. He has 4 degrees of freedom with the capacity for more when he's removed from his traveling backpack containment unit.
Animated Parrot
This figure has 4 degrees of freedom and is animated using Visual Show Automation software. The project was entirely 3D printed and has been one of my most elaborate personal projects.
Animated Lamp
This figure was developed for the SITE expo at Ohio State university in 2020. It has 5 degrees of freedom and was animated using the Pololu Maestro controllers software library.
